Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant Per diem to work in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counsel Professions Department.

The Temporary Research Assistant will assist faculty member in the conduct of the faculty member's program of original empirical research.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Directly responsible for providing research activities support to faculty mentor.
  • Perform clinical duties or engage in statistical data analysis and data management, or both.
  • Secure informed consent for participant study participation.
  • Conduct data collection.
  • Preparation for entry, computer entry, checking and tracking of data, data analysis under supervision.
  • Provide administrative assistance such as IRB or grant applications.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree preferred in a mental health related field or data management or statistical background.
  • Assessment, intervention, and/or data management training will be provided.

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling and social work graduate program preferred.
  • Research experience preferred.
