Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our passionate imaging team committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive team of healthcare providers, and offer peace of mind to patients through timely and precise imaging.
Responsibilities Include - Conducting a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and empathetic explanations at each step
- Collaborating closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient records within the electronic medical system
- Staying updated with advances in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices
Education Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required - Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
