Job Summary
Join us as a Senior Technology Product Manager for CCH Axcess Tax, where you will be at the forefront of shaping cutting-edge tax technology solutions within the CCH Axcess platform. This pivotal role involves leading innovative product initiatives that enhance compliance, simplify workflows, and provide exceptional user experiences for tax professionals. As the customer's advocate, you will collaborate with teams across engineering, UX, marketing, and support to ensure our products meet business objectives and address market demands. The ideal candidate will possess a robust product management background combined with a keen understanding of tax technology trends and customer-centered design.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the development, enhancement, and complete lifecycle management of CCH Axcess Tax products, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and alignment with firm workflows.
Lead one or more Scrum teams by implementing Agile development practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives), and steering quarterly planning to ensure alignment with product goals and timely delivery.
Enhance user experience and interface design to offer intuitive, efficient solutions for tax professionals.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and support, for effective execution of tax product initiatives.
Align product initiatives with strategic business objectives and the overarching vision for the CCH Axcess platform.
Implement customer feedback loops and Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to continually refine tax workflows and compliance features.
Act as the voice of the customer through direct engagement with tax professionals and participation in industry forums.
Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and regulatory updates to initiate proactive improvements.
Deliver engaging presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences, showcasing product vision, compliance updates, and progress on the roadmap.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in technology product management.
Proven experience managing SaaS products, preferably in tax or financial technology.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Scrum teams, including facilitating ceremonies and quarterly planning.
Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of using data to inform decisions.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with CCH Axcess Tax or similar tax compliance platforms.
Knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and workflows utilized by accounting firms.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and contemporary software development practices.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or a similar Agile certification.

Compensation:
$105,800.00 - $185,450.00 USD. This role is eligible for a bonus.
The compensation range provided is based on the primary location of the position. Actual base salary offers are influenced by various factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and actual hiring location. Recruiters will provide specific details regarding the offer during the hiring process.
