Sales and Repair Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate Sales and Repair Technician to provide outstanding customer service and manage inventory levels, specifically in the outdoor power-tool department. This role also involves servicing and repairing Stihl products according to vendor warranty guidelines using factory parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Handle inquiries and complaints while resolving issues in the store's best interest.
• Product Knowledge: Have comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and store layout.
• Stihl Repair: Execute repairs for Stihl products, manage online warranty processes, and maintain communication with customers regarding timelines.
• Store Operations: Supervise daily operations of the outdoor power department, manage inventory levels to optimize store profitability, and ensure compliance with all inventory management policies.
• Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor and stock areas, assist with general store maintenance, and ensure safety during all operations.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
2. Experience in retail and small engine repair (chainsaws, lawnmowers, etc.) is necessary.
3. Stihl product repair experience or certification training is a plus.
4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
