Your Contributions Will Include - Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering the necessary diagnostic tests, and formulating tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, as per your credentials
- Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing medications and implementing treatment plans as per your professional scope
- Engaging in follow-ups and chronic condition management
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless patient care
- Meticulously documenting clinical findings in electronic medical records (EMR)
Essential Education and Training - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Critical Credentials Required - Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
