Role Responsibilities
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help achieve their functional targets.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to boost motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily functional tasks.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic practices to support their recovery journey at home.
  • Track Progress and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical outcomes meticulously and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure patients are consistently advancing.
Educational Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program
  • Continued education or post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
