MHS invites married couples to apply for the position of Flex Houseparents. As a couple, you will reside in student homes on campus, where you will play a crucial role in guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will encompass creating a supportive family-like environment, which includes driving students, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. Initially, you will work in various student homes before being assigned to one specific home.

Qualifications:

• Experience working or volunteering with youth, especially from underserved backgrounds is preferred.
• This role is specifically for married couples who have been legally married for at least two years.
• Both applicants should be at least 27 years old.
• A maximum of three dependent children can reside within the student home.
• Successful candidates must adhere to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy, with no alcohol allowed during working hours.
• Pets are limited; only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and have the ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Couples should be comfortable leading daily devotions and transporting students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, following the guideline that proselytizing is not allowed.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of your duties.
• The ability to demonstrate strong integrity is essential, as all staff are role models for students.
• Both spouses are required to complete separate employment applications.
