Clinical Pharmacist | Kernersville, North Carolina

A clinical pharmacist with a strong background in compounding is needed for a 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity in Greensboro, NC. This role offers the chance to apply expertise in sterile and non-sterile medication preparation while working closely with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient care outcomes.

Schedule & Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor pharmacological care according to patient needs
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, including both sterile and non-sterile formulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory efficiently
• Offer pharmaceutical counseling and guidance to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Assist with the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians to support daily operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of North Carolina
• Between 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a genuine interest and passion for compounding are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of USP standards 795, 797, and 800 related to compounding practices
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy workflows and prescription processing
• Willingness to learn and adapt to pharmacy software similar to QS1 (training provided)
