- Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
- Document all procedures in detail, mentor new staff or trainees, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
- Ensure a tidy, safe workspace by following health regulations and accreditation requirements.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications - ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
