Description of Responsibilities - Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly communicating each step with sensitivity
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment while promptly documenting any issues
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and update patient information within electronic medical systems
- Stay informed about the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and relevant best practices
Education Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desirable
